Intermediate to Senior Structural BIM Technician

SUMMARY

• Full-time Intermediate to Senior Structural BIM Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare Structural drawings and 3D models that meet company standards.
• Assist Engineers with the layout of structures.
• Coordinate drawings with other consultants.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

• Proficient with Revit and experience modelling wood frame and concrete.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Thorough understanding of Structural and Architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with structural materials and construction processes.
• Strong organizational and self-directed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Thoroughness in completing tasks with attention to detail.
• Desire to improve systems and innovate.
• Ability to work in a team environment and work towards common goals.

REQUIRED TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a BIM structural drafting position.
• BCIT or VCC Drafting Certification (or equivalent) preferred.

SALARY & BENEFITS

• The base salary for this position is between $75,000 – $100,000 dependant on skills and experience.
• Annual performance bonuses upon discretion.
