Torino, found in Richmond as a part of Capstan Village, is a mixed-use development consisting of 26 townhouses, 319 residential units in 3 towers around a central courtyard, and a 15,375 sq.ft. Early Childhood Development Hub. The design by Bingham + Hill Architects combines the scale, materials, and solar exposure to give Torino a strong character when view from both street level and from the distance. In addition, vibrant colours are used to integrate the building into the surrounding community and to give each tower its own identity.
